An accomplished educator and researcher from San Fernando, Cebu. He is an Associate Professor IV at Cebu Technological University–San Fernando Campus and a Ph.D. candidate in Education majoring in Research and Evaluation at Cebu Normal University. With a strong academic foundation, including a Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics Education and a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics, both from Cebu Normal University, he has dedicated his career to advancing education through innovative teaching strategies, policy analysis, and phenomenological inquiry. His extensive research portfolio includes published works on education, health, and technology, such as studies on virtual learning, technological skills development, and the lived experiences of diverse Filipino communities. He has presented at various international conferences and serves as a peer reviewer for Scopus-indexed journals. A leader in his institution, he has held key roles such as Director of the Extension Office and Chairperson of the BTLED Program. Recognized with the CTU Outstanding Research and Development Award in Scientific Publication, Marvin is an active member of multiple professional organizations, contributing significantly to the fields of education and research.
