
Dr. Lovelyn G. Tipon

An Assistant Professor IV at Cebu Normal University’s College of Nursing and the current Director of the Research Institute for Ageing and Health. She holds a Doctor of Science in Nursing major in Gerontology from Cebu Normal University and is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership. She also completed her Master of Arts in Nursing from Father Saturnino Urios University.

With extensive experience in academia, Dr. Tipon has taught in both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs and has been actively involved in nursing research. Her studies focus on gerontology, healthcare policies, and public health concerns. She has co-authored multiple research publications in SCOPUS-indexed journals, including works on older adults' experiences in academia and artificial intelligence applications in tuberculosis mortality analysis.

Dr. Tipon has presented her research at international conferences, including the International Conference of Nurses (ICONs) and various methodological research forums. She has also served as a research panelist and evaluator, contributing to the academic and professional development of nursing students and researchers.
As a leader in aging and healthcare research, Dr. Tipon continues to explore innovative solutions for improving healthcare delivery and policy implementation for older adults in the Philippines.
